967 Architetti Associati

Established in Milan in 1999 by Cesare Chichi, Bruno De Rivo e Stefano Maestri, the office provides a wide range of architectural works and interior design concepts, both in Italy and abroad.

The A&D firm is made of a highly qualified team of architects and designers, skilled to work on different scale projects with great attention to details and cost control. 967 has worked with both private companies and public entities, planning office spaces, laboratories, hotels, residential and mixed-use buildings.

Research, innovation and experimentation are applied from the design concept to the final phase of project management. The constant research of new materials, the lighting used as one of the architectural components and the influence from other sectors has as a final goal to achieve a space with a refined and stylish atmosphere, a result of a combination between emotional and functional components.

The attitude of the firm is to work without using any established patterns. Instead every project is approached in a different way considering the site, the client’s requests and the experience gained.

The office has achieved a conceived experience by working on complex projects and has developed and managed projects at many different levels. For example, the Mongolian mixed-use building, named GAIA, or the Italian headquarters of international companies such as Petronas and GroupM.

The portfolio of the firm contains many other projects, including master plans and interior and design projects .

Since 2008, the A&D firm 967 has become a member associate of the Italian Green Building Council. Since then the parameters listed in the LEED BD&C and the LEED ITALIA NC protocols have been applied to the design phase in order to obtain the certifications. As a result of the attention to environment and energy problems, some of the residential projects developed by the firm has achieved the category CasaClima A and B.
